The Black Crowes will finally begin the long-awaited Robinson brothers reunion tour this July.
Chris and Rich Robinson announced in late-2019 that they had reconciled after several years apart and would reform their legendary band to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their hit 1990 debut album, Shake Your Money Maker.
The initially scheduled tour never launched due to coronavirus pandemic shutdowns. The band's rescheduled 37-date tour will begin July 20 in Nashville and end on Sept. 25 in Bethel, New York.
While the band's lineup on the reunion tour was initially Chris and Rich surrounded by an all new band of Crowes, the brothers have announced that longtime former bassist Sven Pipien (who played with them from 1997 - 2015) will also take part.
Pipien will round out a lineup including guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Raj Ojha. The latter three played the band's two 2019 pop-up reunion shows, which coincided with the tour announcement.

Chris and Rich confirmed this spring that they've been writing songs together during the pandemic shutdowns. But they added that they need to prove they can complete a tour without getting at each other's throats before committing to another album.
