Sharon Osbourne Dealing With COVID-19 After-Effects Weeks Since Being Sick

Sharon Osbourne revealed this week that she's still feeling the after-effects of COVID-19 close to a month after being briefly hospitalized with the disease and eventually testing negative for the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

"I'm feeling really fine now, except that I'm still very tired," she said on Monday's edition of The Talk. "I nod off at ridiculous times of the day. And I'm good."

As far as her symptoms when she was positive for the virus, Sharon says she got just about everything on the CDC checklist but she's still lucky her case wasn't more severe.

"I went through all the symptoms — headache, eye ache, body ache, dizziness, sickness; all of it. But there's people who are much worse than I got it; they have it much worse. And I just think I came out very lucky.

"By the way, I still can't smell very much or taste very much," she added.

Sharon believes that she caught the virus from an employee who works at her home. After being hospitalized briefly, she quarantined for the third time this year and eventually tested negative.

Her son Jack Osbourne and his young daughters reportedly got the virus from an employee in September. The Osbournes had another virus scare in November, sending all the family members into isolation.

Ozzy Osbourne has remained healthy and COVID negative all year, as he continues work on another new solo album while also rehabilitating from a 2019 neck operation.

In early-2019, Ozzy was hospitalized with the flu and pneumonia. This past fall, he revealed to GQ that he is an especially high COVID-19 risk due to his age, his injury, his Parkinson's disease and his COPD.

"I've got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I'm f---ed," he said.
