Info from Salvation Army of Fort Smith for those needing help or shelter

The Salvation Army of Fort Smith is now serving people affected by the flooding. They will be opening the shelter to women, children and men. They have room for 35 people. They will also be serving three meals a day for anyone who needs a meal. They also need donations of blankets, food, bottled water, pet food, personal hygiene items and volunteers to help in the kitchen and elsewhere. If you can help or need help, call the Salvation Army at 479-783-6145 or go 301 N. 6th Street.
