Gov. Hutchinson Says Some Camping May 1, Restaurants And Museums Mid-May

During his press conference on April 28th, Governor Hutchinson said that Arkansas may start the process of opening things back up to the public in the very near future. According to the Governor, the State Parks will open to RV camping on May 1st for In-State Residents with contactless check-in, and that the cabins at the Arkansas State Parks should open back up on May 15th.

It was also said during the press conference that Arkansas restaurants and food service facilities, museums and exhibits, visitors centers and some other places of business may begin opening back up in a limited capacity (to practice social distancing) on May 15th as well.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Arkansas is now 3,111, with 94 new cases in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases is at 1913 which is down 67 cases in the last day, while there are 1,146 recoveries from the coronavirus in the state.
