California's Thomas Fire Continues To Grow

Firefighters in California are still facing an uphill battle as the 5th largest blaze in the state's history continues to grow.  The Thomas Fire north of Los Angeles has grown to 230-thousand acres, leaving nearly 800 structures destroyed and 90-thousand customers without power.  While it looked like progress was being made earlier in the weekend, containment has now been downgraded from 15% to 10%. Evacuation orders are in effect for swaths of the Central Coast region, including some areas that haven't been touched by fire in a century.

Crews are hoping that high winds making containment difficult eventually die down Tuesday into Wednesday.
